Arcade Fire in film

At the 53th edition of the Grammy Awards (2010) the Arcade Fire won the Album of the Year with their latest The Suburbs, achieving huge critical and revenue success throughout. This year, fathers of the band Win and Will Butler co-wrote a short-film with and to be directed by Spike Jonze (Being John Malkovich, Adaptation), inspired in the themes and tone of the album, depicting a war in a dystopian suburb, a voyage carried by young adult protagonists. The 30-minute film Scenes from the Suburbs attended the 2010 Berlin Film Festival and is available for free at MUBI only today.
